My intent with the troll joke was to give a humorous reminder that a little self promotion is ok, but a couple times a day is annoying. Orcus means troll, as in Internet troll, meaning one who subverts the intended use of the site and is annoying people. You have made a number of on topic posts that were very nice, but also a number that were clearly off topic and viewed as self promotion, with links to your consulting service. A couple times a day is a bit much. No one wants to be rude, so we try to humor you into toning it down a little. Compared to many Internet forums, this is likely one of the nicer responses you could expect. all the best, Kendall

Maybe a little retrospection on why your postings might perhaps possibly maybe perceived as somewhat self-promoting and ungracious could be helpful.
