Dear Colleagues, Dr. Adrian Gross’s lab at Chicago Medical School (Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science) has an opening for a post doctoral fellow position to study the structural and functional properties of different mammalian and bacterial potassium channel proteins using Site-Directed-Spin-Labeling EPR (Pulsed and CW ) spectroscopy, electrophysiology and protein X-ray crystallography techniques. Experience in basic molecular biology and biochemical skills to express and purify recombinant proteins from Yeast and Bacterial expression systems are needed. Prior experience in working with integral membrane proteins, EPR spectroscopy and/or protein crystallography will be highly advantageous. Salary will be commensurate with the past research experience and as per the NIH guidelines.
Interested candidates are encouraged to e-mail their Curriculum Vitae and contact information of three references to Dr. Adrian Gross (adrian.gr...@rosalindfranklin.edu) for immediate consideration.
