The Högbom lab at the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Stockholm
University has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral researcher in the area
of metalloprotein structure and function. This position is available for a
period of two years.

We study a number of proteins that utilize metals to perform very challenging
chemical reactions such as oxygen activation, lipid oxidation and
ribonucleotide reduction. The ideal candidate has a strong background and keen
interest in biochemistry, biophysics, X-ray crystallography and/or
electrochemistry and is familiar with basic molecular biology and protein
production/purification methods. Enthusiasm for scientific discovery and
problem solving skills are key personal traits required for this position. The
successful candidate will be required to be available for occasional travel for
synchrotron data collection and collaborations.

Applications will only be accepted via email to hogbom...@gmail.com. Applicants
should provide a cover letter with a statement of motivation, CV and contact
