For a relevant tutorial for use in twinning, see e.g. Regine Herbst-Irmer's Introduction to Twinning at <http://shelx.uni-ac.gwdg.de/~rherbst/twin/twin_introduction.pdf>. In conjunction with CELL_NOW, I've also found the Bruker program RLATT helpful in handling twins.
