Several postdoctoral and senior staff scientist positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Zhiwei Huang at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT, http://en.hit.edu.cn/w2.asp), China. Our research interests focus on the understanding of structure-function relationships of macromolecules, and the mechanisms of cellular signaling transduction in immune and infectious disease field. We use multi-disciplinary approaches including X-ray crystallography, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, and mouse genetics in our studies. We are equipped with a state-of-the-art facility to conduct soluble/membrane protein crystallography and functional studies including a home X-ray source, an automated crystallization screening device, and other setups such as ITC.
Applicants with a PhD in the areas of macromolecular X-ray crystallography, biophysics, microbiology, virology, immunology, physics or related fields are encouraged to apply.
