Postdoctoral positions are is available in the laboratory of Dr. Oleg Tsodikov at the University of Kentucky, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences ( http://pharmacy.mc.uky.edu/faculty/tsodikov/index.php) starting immediately, in the areas of bacterial resistance to antibiotics and mechanisms of oncogenic transcriptional regulators. These projects are integral parts of ongoing highly collaborative translational bench-to-bedside drug discovery and development efforts. Our group uses a combination of structural biology, enzymology, biophysics and computation to tackle problems. We seek highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D. degree and with strong documented experience in enzymology, including protein purification.
