We had a big cooling failure within the cold room and lost the Äkta controller PC due to excess heat. This *old* but reliable ÄktaExplorer was connected via CU-900 PCI card. What is the purpose of this CU-900 PCI card? We have only standalone PCs. Can I directly connect to a Äkta explorer?
Is this a special Äkta card or is this has special control commands to talk to Akta or a standard network card? (seems very expensive in Ebay at $2000) Many thanks for any hints, Vero
