Structure Meets Function – Instruct-FR1 Webinar Registration<https://instruct-eric.org/tracker/xhB063> is open for the tenth webinar in the Structure Meets Function series from Instruct-ERIC. It will be hosted by Instruct Centre FR1<https://instruct-eric.org/tracker/11eOh6> on 12 May 2021, 11:00 - 12:30 CEST. The upcoming webinar will feature talks on the application of structural biology methods, including cryo-electron microscopy, to better understand key aspects macromolecular complexes structure and interactions. Fully remote data collection on eBIC Cryo-EM instruments eBIC and Instruct-ERIC invite you to apply for this training course in single particle analysis. Funded by Instruct-ERIC, the course begins on 10 May 2021 with the first cohort. The course is limited to 8 attendees, who will be chosen and split into their cohorts based on their applications. Each cohort of approximately 2 people will be scheduled two 8hr Talos sessions followed by one 8hr Krios session. These sessions will be scheduled after registration closes. To apply, and for more information, visit the website.<https://instruct-eric.org/tracker/3kaDLq> Solving Structural Biology Challenges – Czech Republic Centre of Molecular Structure This joint webinar of the Centre of Molecular Structure (CMS) and the Swedish company Excillum will present the advanced possibilities of the instrumentation at CMS as well as a user project by Cyril Barinka, who utilised Excillum´s MetalJet source instrument. The X-ray diffraction and SAXS instruments in the Centre of Molecular Structure are both equipped with MetalJet source.
