Montana State University (MSU) invites applications for 3 tenure-track
faculty positions in neuroimmunology (see advertisement below).  We are
particularly interested in candidates that intend to develop research
programs that include structural biology. Relevant core facilities at MSU
include X-ray crystallography, NMR, mass spectrometry, and a new Talos
Arctica microscope equipped with a Gatan K3 camera.  In addition to this
cluster hire, MSU will also be announcing a cryo-EM specific position soon.

at Montana State University*

Department of Microbiology & Cell Biology at Montana State University (MSU)
invites applications for three tenure track faculty positions in the field
of Neuroimmunology. This cluster hire aims to attract a diverse cohort of
exceptional individuals that will establish nationally recognized, and
externally funded research programs that use innovative new methods to
interrogate dynamic interactions at the interface of Neurology and
Immunology. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, fundamental
and applied biology, immunology, neurology, pathology, psychiatry,
parasitology, aging, structural biology, and virology. Successful
applicants will integrate their research programs with undergraduate and
graduate student instruction and participate in professional service
activities. We are particularly interested in individuals whose work
complements and strengthens the research interests of MSU faculty,
including those focused on neurology, developmental biology, immunology,
microbial physiology and ecology, molecular evolution, virology, biomedical
microbiology, environmental health, structural biology, and host-pathogen
interactions. The Department of Microbiology & Cell Biology offers a
dynamic research and teaching environment with state-of-the-art facilities
for infectious disease (e.g., BSL3), flow cytometry, light and
cryo-electron microscopy, histology, and small and large animal research.
The University supports comprehensive cores in metabolomics, proteomics,
imaging, structural biology, and genomics/bioinformatics. This position is
supported by a competitive institutional salary, a generous start-up
