My research group at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, is seeking to immediately hire a Postdoctoral Fellow to work on an NIH-funded project on SARS-CoV-2. We study the structures and mechanism of RNA modification and motor enzymes that operate during SARS-CoV-2 replication and transcription. We will use X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, and enzyme biochemistry to address basic mechanistic questions and develop small-molecule antivirals.
