Dear all Please find an announcement for a Research Scientist in Biophysics and Structural Biology _PhD level (M/F) in Paris
Onxeo is looking for a highly motivated and curious candidate ready to explore and apply technologies dedicated to the characterization of biomolecular interactions. Under the responsibility of the "Drug Design and lead Optimization" team leader at Onxeo, the role of the candidate will be to conduct biophysical interaction projects using state-of-the-art instrumentations, including, SPR, switchSENSE and DSF technologies as well as structural studies of proteins in complex with therapeutic molecules using X-ray crystallography and/or CryoEM. The postdoc position is part of a collaboration between Onxeo<https://www.onxeo.com/>, a clinical-stage biotechnology company designing and developing novel oncology drugs targeting tumor Damage Response (DDR) and a structural biology research laboratory. This is a tremendous opportunity for an individual to contribute to projects of real medical impact. Missions Being fully part of Onxeo but mainly at the external research laboratory to perform the experiment, the candidate will be responsible for development and realization of biophysical projects. * Contribute to screening projects, from assay development to screening campaign: define, execute experimental processes and data analysis. * Contribute to structural studies from sample preparation to structure determination * Plan, design and analyze experiments, ensure project delivery (written reports, PowerPoint presentations, data management...) * Share scientific knowledge and results with the Group Leaders, Team leader and operational. * Monitor scientific and technical development in the field of the activity. Quality * Innovative mindset and adaptability * Excellent collaborative skills, demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills, and work effectively under deadlines. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to report and present data to colleagues and senior management.
