Jinhua,

As Michael stated, ticking "keep delete active" will prevent the window
from closing. Additionally, if you accidentally forget to do this, Coot
does not actually crash. The window gets "hidden" or "minimized". If you
right click on the XQuartz icon, you will see the window at the top of the
menu as "Coot [Version]". Clicking it will restore the window to the
viewscreen. It took me a while to realize this so figured I'd share.
