The student will work to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms of
how viruses hijack mitochondrial function to benefit replication, using a
combination of state-of-the-art macromolecular x-ray crystallography and/or
cryo-EM in combination with cell biology experiments to probe viral
infections.

The position is fully-funded and comes with all benefits of being employed
in the Netherlands.
