Dear all,

On behalf of the organising committee and the *Biological Structures Group*,
I am delighted to announce that *abstract submission is open* for the *BCA
Spring Meeting 2026* to be held in Leeds on Monday 30th March - Wednesday
1st April.

The section plenary will be given by Basil Greber (ICR), entitled *Mechanistic
insight into the function of the human CDK activating kinase. *

The programme is viewable at the website link below, with descriptions of
the session topics including structure-based drug discovery, complex
structures,
complementary techniques (held with the Industrial Group section) and
protein design. As is customary, we also have an open session to allow for
abstracts on structural biology topics outside the themed sessions, or
where sessions are over-subscribed. We’re very pleased to welcome keynote
speakers Gabi Heller (UCL), Mohinder Pal (University of Kent), Chris Cooper
(University of Surrey) and Ed Pyzer-Knapp (CSO, Xyme.AI) to Leeds to share
their work across the field.

More details and the abstract submission form can be found at
https://tinyurl.com/BCASpring2026

The deadline for abstract submission is *9am on Monday 19th January*.

Registration will be opening shortly.

We hope to see you there!
