Dear all,

I am very curious as to why there are only three
kinase-domain–containing crystal structures of ZAP-70 deposited in the
PDB, and none at all for the JAK3 pseudokinase domain.

Are you aware of any publications that explicitly mention unsuccessful
crystallization attempts, poor diffraction that prevented structure
determination, or more fundamental issues such as difficulties in
protein expression or production at quantities suitable for
crystallography?

Any insights or references would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for your help.

Sincerely, -yong
