Yes, this is the first step for me. Last night I pulled out an MS-DOS 486 that seems capable. It can read/write single density according to TESTFDC. This is the machine I'll use. There will be a hiatus in the project while I get the connecting hardware organised. Then we will see what we will see. Hopefully the drive itself works. I don't know that for sure yet.
