[Details vary across models] Typically 'maintenance panel' and 'configuration panel'. The snake crawl is the maintenance panel; the snake is the contents of the A and Q registers. Set "DISPLAY SELECT" to "SCROLL" and rotate the DATA scroll wheel to "AQ". The maintenance panels are mostly lights; the configuration panels mostly switches. -- Charles
