I gave away three of the things last year--a "dual standard"; a "Courier V.92 (or something" and the latest "V. everything" one. There were firmware upgrades for the first two, but IIRC, they also involved an SRAM upgrade. There was an upgrade for the V.Everything, that was download and flash (i.e. no replacement ICs). --Chuck
