Bulk Erasing is the first thing I tried

As I recall you had to bulk erase the old diskette and then you could format it as 720 - covering the 1.44 hole of course.

Not bulk erasing (the side of a Weller soldering gun works just fine) led to erratic results. We all have Weller guns for fixing computers, eh?
