Huh... This is pretty cool. I just checked them out and they have a number of 
"local" numbers to me (ignoring the fact that all of the US is a local talk on 
my POTS plan) including one w/ in a 5 mile radius. Called them and actually got 
the soothing tones of a modem. I may just have to get subscription to be able 
to dial in for nostalgia sake.... And everyone could use an extra shell 
account.
