Well, I have gotten the diags to come up, after getting an
EPROM dump from Glen Slick. THANKS, Glen!
Now, the problem is to get the NOV RAM configured for these
drives.
I have two Fujitsu ESDI drives that should have working VMS
systems on them. I first tried coming up with my own drive
parameters, that didn't work. Then, I tried setting the
drive to type 2 (get parameters from drive automatically),
that didn't work either.
The small drive I have has some numbers written down on the
bad block list paper, I will try those but it doesn't look
like enough numbers.
Anyway, the drives I have are:
Fujitsu M2246E and Fujitsu M2263E. The manual does list the
parameters for the M2246E, I will have to try those. But, I
have no parameters for the M2263E. Does anybody know where
to get these config parameters for the M2263E? That is the
drive that was used most recently, so I would prefer to get
that one running.
