If it will help send me your address off-list and I will drop it in the mail. Just send it back when done. You should be able to map the 40 pin from the RX02 to the 25 pins on the plug, which can then be used to map to your 37 pin pinout on the VT278.

I have the pinouts for the 37-pin end but not the 25-pin end.   If no one
has a cable I can do a continuity test of the cable next time I have
access
one, but it's not easily available.
