Dear CDK users and developers, a year ago the 5th anniversary of the CDK was celebrated with a CDK workshop in Cologne: the CDK5AW event. With 11 participants from 5 different universities and 4 different countries, it was an excellent first workshop, which actually lead to the development of Bioclipse 1.0.
The Cologne University BioInformatics Center (CUBIC) will host on 29 January to 2 February the second official CDK Workshop, focusing on getting CDK users and developers in one room, with presentations in the morning and work sessions in the afternoon. Like last year, the program will be rather flexible, and allowing every participant to bring in his favorite CDK or CDK related topic. Registration fee will be 50 Euro to cover the costs of planning and social events. The workshop is open to everyone interested. Accommodation and living costs are at own expenses. Please contact the organizers if you need help with finding an accommodation. The workshop will include a poster session for presenting participant's research.
