Hi CDK-users,

just a quick note:

some new bits in the CDK library in our Subversion repository are GPL.

This is new, and limited to a few classes. You can identify them by
the "License: GPL" in the JavaDoc, e.g. [1]. The *only* code in CDK that is
GPL, currently, relates to ionization potential calculation, such as the
class IPAtomicDescriptor [1]. The reason why these classes are GPL is that
they depend on Weka functionality, which is GPL. All these bits are grouped
together in a new module called qsar-weka.

The CDK *is* and will remain LGPL! We are not switching to GPL!

We plan to put GPL extensions of the CDK library into a new Subversion
repository, but this has not yet been set up.

I just want you to be aware of these bits of GPL code. Please email me if you
have questions.

Egon
