Which cdk version are you using? It is a bit tricky with rendering right now due to code being rewritten. I would recommand you use the jchempaint-primary (in cdk svn branches) branch and follow this: http://apps.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/cdk/index.php?title=Renderer_Tutorial tutorial. Stefan
