Hi all, here are the minutes of the monthly CDK G+ Hangout where developers and users can meet up and discuss things.
* 1.5.x state - number of fails/errors still too high for recommended use * patches - comparator patches: should go into 1.4.x accept patches for master - query chem object builders: John has a patch; only affects master * maintenance tasks -> http://sourceforge.net/p/cdk/project-maintainance-tasks/ - Egon will add upgrade to PMD 5.0, which requires checking of CDK PMD tests still work in that version (they changed the API significantly) - feature request: install instructions for Nightly * forks - Bioclipse fork just has JCP patches - CDK-JChemPaint needs an updated release - JChemPaint forks has diverged quite a bit, and it is not clear how much; needs a lot of work to figure that out * 1.5 release schedule - immutable for after 1.6 - 1.5.0 to freeze really soon * release plans left for 2012 - 1.4.16 and if there is time left 1.5.2 (after that Egon will focus on making a new CDK-JChemPaint release) These meetings are open to users too to ask questions about use of the CDK.
