Thanks for your adivce. The incomplete description of my issue might
mislead you. In fact, the SMARTS pattern string is unavailable because one of
what i want to get is unknown functional groups matching(or say, to find out
unknown functional groups). I use recurrence algorithm to match functional
groups . if functional groups are matched, SMARTS pattern search is
unnecessary. Finally, splitting a molecule is essential.
