To whom it may concern,

I recently read the information on www.openoffice.org concerning the distribution of openoffice.org on Cdrom.

The information was a bit confusing and I’m still not sure what is involved.

I would like to become a distributor, so I would appreciate if you could forward me some more instructions on what I need to do.

I recently went self employed and am looking for ways to boost my business. I work as a PC Technician involved mostly in virus removal and pc clean up for home pc users. I am also targeting businesses for network installation and support. I plan to sell pcs also. It was through my supplier’s web site that I became aware of the openoffice.org distribution community.

I feel that distributing the openoffice.org source (or programme, I’m not very clear on what I will be distributing) will benefit my sales. I have now downloaded the files and am going to start using it before I commit to recommending it to others. But I have heard of the product before and have heard great things about it.

My company name will be Chill Mhantain Technology (CMT for short). I am a Wicklow (Ireland) based sole trader. As I mentioned I only recently started working for myself so I do not yet have a website or the equipment needed for mass production of Cdroms. But these are in the plans. I would like to know more about distributing before I commit to buying equipment this early into self employment.
