I just thought about what you said about charging for it. With that in
mind, I just thought that I probally will only charge just a little bit
over the media price. With the media price in mind, I figure i'll
distribute it with almost no profit. I shouldnt bother charging that
much anyway, because it can be downloaded for free. But, If I decide to
just modify the source code, then I will obviosly charge more. I think
that roughly $9.99 is a nice price for it, and that should cover all of
the media prices. I will join the project around next week, because I am
not sure if I need to pay taxes for doing this in my state (Virginia,
USA). I think this is some wonderfull software too :P
Thanks once again,
Joe

Hello Joe,
Yes, you are allowed to charge for the software, and make a proffit. You
can make this into a side business. We would appreciate it if you charged
a "reasonable" price for the software, but even that is not required.
Please consider joining this project:

If you join, we will also list you on our distributor's page:

Note: Please reply to this list ([email protected]), not
to me directly.

Dear openoffice.org,
I was wondering if I can charge money if someone wants to get it, and I
am distributing. Is it allowed for me to make profit that way? I mean,
all of those CD-R's would cost alot of money eventually. So, can I
charge money for it? Or, will I just have to charge $10 for 'Shipping
and handling' :-X
Thanks,
Joe
