Alex,

I'd like to suggest that the 2.0 ISO be created first (before the 1.5 version).  Now that 2.0 is officially out (I've already downloaded the Windows version and installed in on my PC), everyone will want that and not 1.5 ISO.

Also, please try update the list of companies that distribute the CD on the OpenOffice.org web site.  I know there are many of us that have been patiently waiting to be listed for quite some time.

Since we're ALL part of the CD Distribution project, please let us know if there's anything we can do to help speed either of these processes up.  Many of us here have high speed internet connections and could download the files you need.  I think one person already tried creating an ISO but couldn't get it below 800 MB.  If you told them about your tool from Sun, perhaps they could create the ISO for you.

On a different topic, what are everyone's thoughts on Google distributing OOo?  How will this affect us as CD distributors?

Best regards,
Jim at iDimensionz.com

already downloaded).

the 2.o ISO will follow about a week or two after the release. Because of the
different packaging, it will probably consist of two separate ISOs - 1
installation and 1 documentation/Extras...
