Hello.
I have a company in sweden, by the name "Datorshopen", and we are
selling new computers and alot of software.
We recently started to sell new computers with preinstalled SUSE10 on it.
We would like to distribute your cd? aswell, with openoffice.
How should I continue to get cd,s?
(We are not goin to sell them, we would like to distribute them for
free.)
Hi Ted,
Thats great, I had a play with a prerelease version of Novell's Suse
Linux Enterprise Desktop that's being released in May. Awesome OS.
You have a number of options
You can either download the ISO from the mirrors and burn the cd's yourself
You can buy them in from one of the Community distributors listed on
http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdrom/
Or you can get CD pressing company to do it for you. (Usually requires
a minimum of 500 or 1000) Art for CDs, sleeves and covers is available
from the art project at
http://marketing.openoffice.org/art/galleries/cdart/
Feel free to sell them, the license (LGPL) allows for that. For just the
Media 5 to 10 Euros would be a reasonable price. However if sold with
support package...? Well you would know your market best.
If you would like to be listed as a Community Distributor in your area
check out http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdrom/distributors.html
Cheers
Yo
