Hi there, I requested permission already last year (14/08/2006), but haven't had any replies so far (you did mention that it will take some time, because of the workload). Below is the contents of my previous e-mail:
I wish to obtain permission to become a Community Distributor in Kimberley, South Africa. My name can be listed as: Marius Groenewald (Kimberley - South Africa). I do not have a website. I will be downloading the necessary files (newest stable releases) and burn them onto CD-R. My wife is working at a computer store who will sell the CD's for me. I am interested in becoming a Category 2 distributor. I have read the requirements and have included a copy of the license in the list of files I will put on the CD. I have downloaded all the necessary logo's to be used on printed material (CD Cover and direct printing on CD). I am a very keen OpenOffice.org user myself and tries to promote it as far as possible. Please feel free to contact me if you need any more info or suggestions. In the meanwhile I have already sold between 30-50 CD-ROM copies and made some donations towards OpenOffice.org out of my profit. I will appreciate it if you can confirm via e-mail that I can be a Community Distributor and continue to promote and distribute OpenOffice.org in my city.
