Greetings!

My name is Butch Cañares and I live in Cebu City, Philippines. I am a lawyer
by profession and work in my own small law office with my wife as my
assistant. Open office has been a great help for me in my work and I have
been espousing its use as an alternative to Microsoft products. I would like
to be able to further campaign for the use of open office, particularly in
government offices and small businesses considering that Microsoft here has
been successful in brainwashing people in the use of their software
obviously for their own commercial benefit without considering the economic
conditions of my country. It's time someone here aggressively promote its
use.

What I plan to do is freely distribute CD installers of Open Office to
anyone who cares to use them and in my spare time, go to government offices
and promote its use. I'm willing to spend my own money to produce the CD's
and I won't charge a thing for this as my way of contributing to it's
development and awareness.

I need to know how I can make this possible and if there are others like me
in other countries who are doing the same thing for me to contact.

Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Yours truly,

Butch Cañares
