Dear Open Office: I have always know about your freeware but haven't used it because it is not backward compatible. Recently I saw an ad on E-bay for some cheap software to read my old EXCEL and Word Files. It was sold as Total Office and so it didn't ring any bells. When I received the merchandise I immediately recoginized the logo. The disk is three years old and while it does open the old files it has no economic utility value. I think you should contact E-bay and stop this ridiculous scam. Very truly yours, Tim Cole
