You obviously didn't read the OP's message:

"The company then billed an extra $23.99 for no apparent reason (I found our
later that the CDs were $5.95 each, again not displayed on their website. They
then sent me four more CDs (unasked for) which they were going to charge me
$14.99 for each CD). I have endless trouble cancelling this and as they have my
credit card number they have the upper-hand."

The fact that other companies (larger or smaller) use similar tactics to milk
unsuspecting consumers doesn't mean it's not a SCAM. AOL was infamous for
that...

Note again: If the web site is full of LOTS of VERY TINY text and ONE HUGE
BUTTON that says CLICK HERE FOR A FREE CD, only to be led to a form that asks
for personal information with ANOTHER HUGE BUTTON that says CLICK HERE FOR A
FREE CD, only to be led to a form that asks for your CREDIT CARD number and
SUDDENLY telling you that it actually costs $2.50 "shipping & handling", then
this is DECEPTIVE.

Don't believe me? Go ahead and buy from them...

Erika
