Welcome Adam,
Cannot see a problem with this at all, and have forwarded a copy of your mail to John McCreesh who is Joint Lead of Distribution, who I am sure will get back to you a.s.a.p. If, by chance, you do not hear from him within a few days, feel free to come back, and we'll chase it up.

Regards Andy (a daily user of YOUR products!)

Subject: [cd-rom] Request to OEM or Redistribute OpenOffice

Greetings,

I’m not sure I’ve found the right contact. If not, I’m hoping you can direct me to the right person.

We are currently building OO integration features into the next major release of ColdFusion (http://www.adobe.com/go/coldfusion). Currently, we check to see if OO is already installed on the users server during the ColdFusion install so we can configure the connection without manual intervention. However, if the server does not already have OO installed, we require a manual configuration through our web based administrator. It would be ideal if we could automatically install OO when it isn’t detected to minimize this manual configuration. As I understand it, that would required an OEM agreement or permission to redistribute from OpenOffice.org. We are not modifying or appending any of the OO source code.

Thanks,

---
