Dear Gary, I can imagine how fond you must be of a machine which has given you an amazing working life, but in reality 486s were landfill 8 years ago. These days in a Community market you should be able to pick up a respectable Pentium 4 sub 2Ghz with keyboard, mouse and screen for around $50-$100. This would be a much more confident expression of your faith in the viability of your business. You could run a lean distro like SLAX and load a recent version of OpenOffice.org onto that. You should get another couple of years out of that.
