My name is Joe Lynskey I have a few requests:
1: I am working on distributing a business related tutorial and information cd
and was wondering if I could include open office (unmodified) as a free bonus
and market that I am inducing that as a free bonus in complete descriptive
detail. I plan to include a variety of open source software in the same package
as a free bonus. I wish to first distribute copies on ebay, then a website. The
disks created will be done using lightscribe burners. I may also wish to
include the disk itself as a free bonus to a more expensive disc package. The
retail value of this disk package is $25. The retail value of the second
package is $299.
2: I also wish to be granted a distribution right for producing open office cds
for sale on an online shopping cart website in complete descriptive detail,
ether by itself without any other products on the same site, or on multi
product websites. I may wish to distribute this on more than one website. I
plan on distributing disk packages made by professional disc manufacturers in
stock amounts greater than 2000 disks at a time. I wish to market these copies
of open office as a physical disk version of your software. I wish to launch
this as soon as the website and shopping cart is completed. I may also wish to
sell this software cd on ebay or amazon as well. The planned retail value of
the proposed cd package is $15
3: I am also working on a content management system website for user
contributed content and would like to host a detailed review and description of
open office (including logo space) with an external link to both openoffice.org
download or info page and the website shopping cart for the physical disk
version (as mentioned in request #2 above).
4: I wish to sell any company, brand and website used to sell (or offer for
free) these cds and other products as mentioned in request #1-3. I would like
my aquired licenses/distribution rights to be applied to the physical created
entities (ie; the business) that i create (as mentioned) and for those licenses
to apply to only those entities, regardless of owner. I can report details of
the entities as soon as they are established. I am currently registered to use
one retail related domain and business name for electronic and mail order
purposes, however, i recently put the domain name up for auction so in the even
that i sell it, i will have to find a new one.
As of yet, I have not launched any of my websites, nor do I have trade names
that I can make available at this time but I do wish to launch the package as
mentioned in request #1 above as soon as possible. My ebay id is
"smilingisgoodforyou". I am the founder and owner of the above mentioned
projects. I am willing to comply with all regulations and reporting
requirements, if any. I am registered and fully licensed to collect sales tax
and can provide you with my sales tax id number if necessary.
I am have also been a steady open office user for many years. I am looking
