Hi all people, What will be the correct Command/Syntax to install BurnIT-1.0.6 on RH6.2. The Install instruction is too simple and the 'help' manual is not so clear. Having made following trial without success: Have BurnIT-1.0.6 tar.gz tarball download from Internet and stored under /usr/src/ untar (without problem) cd /usr/src/BurnIT-1.0.6 # install -D install: too few arguments Try `install --help' for more information. # ./install -D bash: ./install: No such file or directory # install -D /usr/local/BurnIT install: too few arguments Try `install --help' for more information. # install -dD install: too few arguments Try `install --help' for more information. # ./install -dD /usr/local/BurnIT bash: ./install: No such file or directory # install -d /usr/local/BurnIT (an empty directory created) # ./install -D /usr/local/BurnIT bash: ./install: No such file or directory # install /usr/src/BurnIT-1.0.6 /usr/local/BurnIT install: `/usr/src/BurnIT-1.0.6' is a directory # install -dD /usr/src/BurnIT-1.0.6/cdrecord-1.6.1/ /usr/local/BurnIT no response only an empty directory /usr/local/BurnIT was created (there is a subdirectory cdrecord-1.6.1 inside) Kindly advise.
