I'm not sure if I'm right here. Anyway: cdrecord has a bug, in file scsi-linux-sg.c, HZ is not defined. This will fix it: #include <asm/param.h> /* for HZ */ Moreover, it doesn't seem to be able to work with kernel 2.4.5 (though I must admit that I'm using 2.4.5 with the FOLK-patch). ./cdrecord: Warning: controller returns zero sized CD capabilities page. ./cdrecord: Warning: controller returns wrong size for CD capabilities page. ./cdrecord: Warning: controller returns wrong page 3A for CD capabilities page (2A). This with the newest alpha (1.11a05) of cdrecord as well as with older ones. Any ideas, pointers? Answers please by PM. Thank you Peter -- "Any good Unix security engineer can clean up any Unix box.
