Thanks for the tip. I tried running as root but the result is the same.
I should have mentioned earlier that I am using KOnCD v.1-0rc2 with the 2nd
patch to make it compile. There is a later beta version but only available via
CVS.
For debugging purposes I've replaced KOnCD's calls to the utility programs (eg.
/usr/local/bin/cdrecord) with shell scripts so everything it does can be
logged. The results of two sessions with the multisession option turned on
are shown. It is immediately clear why the second track is not seen -- it is
not doing a cdrecord -msinfo and then supplying the information to mkisofs via
-C & -M qualifiers. I'm dumbfounded if this has been overlooked by the
authors...
