Hi all! I find this behaviour kinda wierd, hopefully you folks can make something sensible out of it so here goes. Whenever I try to burn a DVD-R(W) disc I get this error "Fatal error at startup: Invalid argument".
Thing is that formating the media in k3b works fine and I can burn it in easy-cd creator (in another OS). So AFAICT the drive and media are happy with eachother. The + media works fine but my other DVD unit only reads - so that doesnt help me much. Hope Ive included all the info needed. Have a good one! /bonso System: Im using SuSE 8.2 with k3b 10.2, dvd+rw tools v 5.14 & 5.16. The unit is a NEC 1300A Firmware: 1.08 Asus mobo with Ali magik 1 chipset (works with DMA FYI). DVD media used: DVD-R - Princo & Verbatim. DVD-R(W) - Verbatim.
