cdrecord decided to try a write at sector 0. That try failed. So its assumption of blank media might be wrong. I already wondered about these messages: > Track 01: data 3834 MB > Total size: 3834 MB = 1963359 sectors > ... > WARNING: Phys disk size 1963359 differs from rzone size 2298496! It looks as if the intended size of the track is already known to the media. A plausible explanation would be that a previous burn run of the same image converted the media into a closed DVD-R with the same size as the image. chi kwan: could you please run dvd+rw-mediainfo /dev/... on the media which refused to get burned, so we get more clarity about its state ? Have a nice day :) Thomas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to cdwrite-requ...@other.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@other.debian.org
