We look froward to hosting you all in Las Vegas next weekend. Here are a few important updates.
1) Jon Bruschke will be running the tab room this year.
2) Entry officially closes on Wednesday 9/30. If you have not yet finalized your entry or your judging committment, please do so ASAP. We will enable prefs on Weds after entry has been closed.
3) If you are driving to campus you will need to contact us to so that we can provide you with a campus parking pass for elims on Monday. In order to receive a free parking pass for Monday you will need to send an email to [email protected] with a subject line “UNLV Debate Tournament Parking,” and indicate the number of permits that your team needs. These requests must be received no later than noon (CST) on Monday September 28, 2009. Please try to minimize the number of permits that you request as we are paying for them.
4) The Hyatt Place (the tournament hotel) is now full on Sunday night. If you still need to make hotel reservations, you can contact Melissa Placek at the Hyatt Place [email protected] 702-369-3366 x5104. She can set you up with rooms (at the tournament rate) at the Embassy Suites which is quite close to the tournament hotel.
5) Please remember to update your competitor/entrant info so that we can order the proper amount and types of food.
6) If you have sold rounds to someone to cover their judging committment, please let us know ASAP. We need to know the total number of rounds you are responsible for judging.
