MSDN is ok, I'm not so sure of the constants. If you look on the mailing
list archive, you'll see that I asked a similar question on the list
recently, and got no replies.

I appreciate your sarcasm, but I personally wouldn't like to get sued by
Microsoft (or anyone else, for that matter).
The people involved in some of the other projects (Cygwin, MingW,
gcc, ..) from which we inherited stuff are careful about such things, I
would like to do the same.
To be honest, I don't know the rules either. Maybe someone should just
ask Microsoft what we can and cannot use.
