Thank you! Removing "-lwinmm" was the solution, for Windows Mobile 2003 as well.

The multimedia functions in Windows CE are implemented in
coredll.dll instead of winmm.dll. Just remove the -lwinmm like, as
-lcoredll is added automatically by the gcc driver.
