This email contains important information. Please read it carefully. *It is best to wait for receipt of your free author's copies before ordering more*, since purchasing additional copies indicates your unequivocal acceptance of your book. There are too many variables to accurately estimate when you will receive your free author's copies (how many you get, your geographic location, the format, our printing schedule, etc.). Authors within the continental United States typically receive their author's copies within 14 days of ordering them from within their author's center. Authors outside the continental United States receive them later (up to 2 months in rare cases) depending upon the shipping options you select for your free copies and your geographic location. Please wait this full length of time before inquiring about them. The system will automatically supply the information we have in your Author Profile, which is usually your billing address. If you require a different ship-to address for a specific order, simply make that change during the book ordering process. Yes, that means you can order them and have them sent directly to a bookstore for a signing or a hotel for an event. Valid delivery addresses only include street addresses. *Do NOT enter PO Boxes for delivery addresses.* We use UPS for tracking book deliveries within the United States and they only deliver to street addresses. If you enter a PO Box as your ship-to address, it will delay your order significantly. Our production and shipping time frames do not apply to improper addresses like PO Boxes. Always enter a street address. *TRACKING ORDERS:* Once you have placed your order, you can track it immediately by going to your My Book Orders <http://outskirtspress.com/customer.php?at=-orders> Page, which is accessible from the sub-menu on every page of your Publishing Center. The sub-menu is the row of links directly below the Tab Menu buttons near the top. *Once your order has shipped, the tracking information will appear in your Author Toolkit in that same location.* Please do not contact us about the status of your order without first checking your Publishing Center. If your tracking number is not there, we don't know what it is either, since that means the order has not shipped yet. Remember, these books are printed only when you order them, and printing timeframes vary from 3-10 business days, depending upon your order variables and the time of year. Always plan for this lead time when ordering your copies. Once an order has shipped, the tracking information will appear in your Author Toolkit. The exception to this is economy international shipping, which we cannot track and therefore cannot guarantee.
