In business world this kind of thing is always negotiable. Every situation is 
different, and it ultimately depends on how much leverage you have, like how 
many instances and what level of support you have and are buying, and your 
relationship with Oracle sales rep. 

I don't know your situation, but I'll likely stay with RHEL (or Unbreakable) if 
I need Oracle support. The cost of RHEL won't add too much to the opex, but 
having someone to call in case of a meltdown is critical for your CIO's career.
