I should probably add this big mea culpa: I just had my first experience working in Ubuntu, and, despite my previous experiences with Alpha Linux 1.x and SuSE 10.1, I am astounded by the depth of differences between different distros.
So, to the person who pointed out that this was way more than "slightly" OT for this list, being as how it has to do with FC 8, you were SO right. How little did I know (and still, but I'm learning as fast as it comes).
