is it a normal user whose passwd u forgot? if yes, login as root user and type passwd <username> and change the passwd if you dont have root user a/c access.
restart the PC and at grub prompt select the *second* option and type *'e*' append it with the word *single* hit *enter *and bit *b* the machine will login with single user mode. here you can change the passwd of the root user. passwd Cheers, Arvind On Mon, Jan 25, 2010 at 1:31 PM, Michael Makotore <makoto...@wattle.co.zw>wrote: > Could you please help me I forgot my username and password. > > > > Regards > > > > Michael > > _______________________________________________ > CentOS mailing list > CentOS@centos.org > http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos > >
